can be anything from cow on the tracks, a car in the way or someone catched the train, literally..
It’s basically an external event, caused by a third party.
Dont know if this comment will stay and if you realy want to know, but, most likely someone jumped in front of the Train. They changed from caling it “Personenunfall” to “Fremdereigniss”. so that others wouldnt be encouraged / reminded to do the same. That said, my father drives train and my sister works for emergency services. Pls dont ruin their day and seek help by calling a help-hotline:

Supposedly, someone committed suicide from what I’ve heard.
Please prove me wrong
CFF recently changed their policy and now refer to personal accidents in a generic “not our fault” fashion to avoid encouraging more suicides. I’m not sure it makes a difference and it possibly will go back to a different message again, it’s just a sad situation overall
