**For ENG speakers:**
– Before Covid Azerbaijan has purchased Stadler trains for Baku-Tbilisi-Baku rail route, which back then was expected to be expanded – Baku-Tbilisi-Ankara.
– Unlike the previous Soviet made trains, new Stadler trains had significantly more comfort advantages, such as:
* Individual climate control for each compartment (previously we were suffering from a central control which was either too hot or too cold)
* Electric sockets on each side of compartment *(vs only 1 per compartment)*
* Better luggage storages
* The upper beds are possible to be folded for more space above passengers heads
* The shared toilet in the carriage now has a shower cabin *(which will be more relevant for those travelling on a longer route like Baku – Ankara or back)*
* Also, each compartment has indicator that shows if the shared toilet/bathrom is occupied or not (previously we had to just go there and knock/check)
* And minor details such as folded handlers, armrests, etc.
The buissiness class compartment (SV) before had almost no significant difference from a economy class, it was basically a compartment with non working TV for only 2 passengers but for x2 of the price.
In the new train the SV has it’s own shower cabin and toilet, more space in the compartment, and so on.
Extra features that were not available before:
* Сarriage for people with disabilities
* Restaurant car
