      European politicians need to get their heads out of their arses and stop claiming that Trump is “trying to get Europe to spend more on defence” or “take a larger share of the military burden”.

      Trump does not give the slightest fuck about Europe, its people, its politics. He is not our friend. He has no concerns for our safety. He is quid pro quo. You either have something he wants or you are worthless dog shit on his shoe and that is how he sees us.

      He is clearly very pro-Russia and anti-Ukraine.

      The refusing habe elections part is just so insanely stupid. Even the opposition reaffirmed that they are ok with this. Also, just from an practical perspective. How the fuck would you even hold an election if 1/3 of your country is occupied or a war zone?

      There is just no way, Ukraine would still be a country without Zelenskyy. He also has an insanely high support for a President who is forced to conscript a significant amount of the male population in this war. Trump didn’t even have that amount of approval at any point in his career.

      So many things that are incorrect. We have spent more like 65 billion there most of the money stayed in this country when they bought old weapons from US companies. Ukraine constitution says they can not have election while marshal law has been called. And it sounds like Zelenskyy has higher poll numbers than Trump. Oh and Trump want to become a dictator while Zelenskyy just want Russia to leave!

      Yesterday, he signed an executive order stating (more or less) only he and the Attorney General can interpret U.S. law. But today, he’s calling Zelensky a dictator.

      As an American, I’m seething. I can’t believe that anyone would fail to see that Trump only has his own interests at heart. You are either a resource to be exploited, and inconvenience to be removed, or an insignificance to be ignored. The majority of our country couldn’t see that. We’ve made our bed, and now we’ve got to sleep in it.

      Europe, don’t make our mistake. Don’t think that Trump will ever do anything other than what he thinks is in his own best interest. He is not your ally, and while he is in power, the United States of America is not your ally, no matter how many of us as individuals are.

      What do Americans think about all this? What do even Republicans think of all this? And don’t give me the same bullshit excuse that Republicans always wanted shit like that but never had someone like Trump steer things up. This is now treason to the people of the US. How can the US army accept this, the senate, the congress? The universities, the scientists, the writers? This man is dangerous for the USA first and foremost, they should all be calling for Trump’s head to go to trial, impeach him or forcefully remove him. What else are they waiting for? Just because he was elected, it does not mean they should accept this egregious borderline treason.

      This is all retribution for Zelensky refusing go sign that egregious mineral, oil and infrastructure deal. Trump is now intentionally tarnishing Zelensky to try to force Ukraine to have elections so they could have someone in power who is going to crumble to Trump’s demands, and it’s also completely possible that if Ukraine refuses this then Trump will lift sanctions on Russia and maybe even try to aid them.

      If this is not the right time for Europe to finally grow a spine and allow Ukraine access to all of those billions of frozen Russian funds, all in Europe’s banks, then when will it be? Trump has made it abundantly clear that the USA has no allies anymore, only countries it can bully and extort, and they need to do something about this situation as quick as possible.
