Never a more pressing time to talk about rules keeping everyone safe than when your superpower neighbour is saying you should become incorporated into their territory because you’re just not that useful to them as a sovereign state. Canadians who didn’t quite get the importance of Ukraine prior to January 20th surely are starting to get it now.

Canada is 6th biggest economy and 28th in spending with a goal of 2032 to reach NATO goal of 2%. They don’t care about Europe like they used to. This guy is getting voted out and Canada will become a strong NATO ally again in short order.
