How long until he launches a “special military operation” to remove the Ukrainian “dictatorship”?

As an American, I feel that Europe is our only hope to uphold democracry. If Europe does not rise to the occassion as the leader of democracy and stand up to America, it is over for democracies all across the world.

Trump, what a total plonker. Reagan turning in his grave with that muppet in charge.

There is no “WEST”. There is USA, there is Europe.

It’s sad to watch the US giving up control to Russia.

Trump is an old senile, gullible man who’s been surrounded by pro-russian disinformation for decades and now they no longer have to hide their control from the world because he is now 100% behind russia. So Putin now controls the most powerful countries in the world and no-one can counter it.

It’s so clear to all those outside the US.

It’s utterly insane to think the US can negotiate on behalf of another nation without that nation having a say. Yet the aggressor gets a say.

It’s like the UK negotiating how much of the US China is allowed to have without the US being at the table. It makes literally no sense.

Not to mention that if the world survives, trump has singlehandedly (with putin’s manipulation) ruined every single alliance the US had. The US has made it clear to allies that there is no unconditional support. It’s all based on how trump feels each morning. This will create total distrust of US deals for the future. And Taiwan must be scared right now. The US will likely not back them when China invades (and they will invade). The US has thrown hundreds of years of carefully crafted alliances and deals out the window in a matter of days. They haven’t felt it in the country yet, but it’s going to bite (either when war starts in Europe or economic damage is no longer sustainable). If they can rebuild, it will take decades.

Edit: As people are trying to point at one point to pretend it’s all irrelevant, which isn’t surprising to me, by “unconditional” I mean that you don’t flip flop because you smell a business opportunity and drop your allies in it. You work with them even if you need to have a back and forth with them in private. But you don’t go negotiate with the enemy without your allies involved, that’s political insanity.

Don’t throw Zelenskiy under the bus Europe. Never forgive you for that one if you do…

Sounds like they realized they can’t vote on anything with Hungary and Slovakia being present so they are doing this. People are saying EU doing nothing as always, but they are actually *improvising*

For over 80 years, a global order has existed, which was led by the US. 80 years’ worth of relationships and all the work that went into it, destroyed in less than a month by one of the biggest morons ever to come to power.

He has alienated America from all of its long-standing allies and has given the world to China in a silver platter. The entire west from Canada to Europe now wants to strengthen their ties to China as they are now seen as more reliable than the US. Europe will turn away from the US. Canada is already doing so. Here is Canada hatred of the US at an all-time high, and many of us are causually discussing how to wage an insurrection campaign if the US tries to invade.

No one will ever want to deal with the US again as their word is dogshit.

If Americans can’t see the long-term ramifications, they are blind.
