
Sto andando a prendere un amico dall’aeroporto di Ginevra e sono rimasto bloccato in questo enorme ingorgo probabilmente causato a causa di un incidente. Non ho mai visto qualcosa di simile per tutta la vita che vive qui. Il traffico si è assolutamente arrestato e non si muove nemmeno un pollice per più di 45 minuti. Quali sono alcune delle migliori fonti di aggiornamenti in tempo reale quando si imbattono in incidenti come questi? Inoltre, le persone possono uscire dalle loro auto? È stato assolutamente incredibile vedere la maggior parte delle persone che rimane nei loro veicoli per più di 45 minuti e non uscivano affatto!

According to the TCS website, there’s a car on fire, and the tunnel is closed in both directions.

Depends. Had this experience twice in the last year.
One time it was a Vollsperrung from the Autobahn and we got stuck at the Einfahrt directly behind a police car. I asked him if it’s ok to get out of the car until the Vollsperrung is over and he allowed it if I stay near the car.
The second time it was because a car was burning inside a tunnel, there I stayed inside the car for approx an hour because we had no clue about how long it will stay this way. And when the traffic started rolling again, it did go pretty fast. If I weren’t in the car, I would’ve created some delay.
Also, according to law it’s forbidden to walk onto the Autobahn. So stay in the car and don’t walk onto the Rettungsgasse. And keep an eye open to the stuff that happens around you.
I mean, car crash blocking the highway are something that happens yeah.
