The level of fitness nationwide is worrying but within the guards it’s just beyond silly. What are we coming to.
Blame the Krispy Kreme sections in the likes of Tesco and countless petrol stations such as Applegreen and the abundance of coffee shops everywhere.
Raise the pay and tighten the fitness requirements, that should of been the solution FFS.
Well thanks to the great work of GSOC and the Irish Council for Criminal Liberties if a Garda chases a suspect and the suspect is injured the Garda will be the one charged so the fitness test probably isn’t required as it’s safer for the Garda to just stay behind a desk.
