Is there a video? A still frame is not very convincing to me. In Musk’s case, he did it twice and later went on an AfD rally so it’s more clear cut. But frames like this can be made even if the gesture itself is barely similar

The GOP is trying to normalize the sieg heil. They are still little scared, but the ultimate goal is, just like nazi germany, to have a simple motion that “unites” the coocoos, and to have a general way of showing support. This is EXACTLY the same mindset and idea that hitler had, and pulled of successfully.
Its absolute madness that so many US soldiers died fighting hitler, and now they piss on the dead and pull shit like this. The GOP has gone from early trump crazy, to bonkers eating-shit wackamoe in just a few short months.

The signs were always there, honestly. This sort of thing doesn’t just happen overnight. I feel like Gen Z and even Millennial Americans don’t even know about things like the Kent State shooting in 1970, which was peaceful student protestors against the Vietnam War getting killed by the National Guard. I’m sure plenty do know about the Japanese American internment camps and the aftermath of how they got released back into society only to find their homes and belongings all gone, their pets shot or stolen, etc. Maybe they even know about MK Ultra or how the author Ernest Hemingway, who unlifed himself cos he thought the FBI was following him, actually turned out to be telling the truth.
Don’t even get me started on how Americans, even under beloved presidents like Obama, turned up their noses at things like universal healthcare or dismantling the for-profit prison system, or how Obama got blocked by his own government from shutting down Guantanamo Bay.
Go further back to the Civil War if you have to. Women’s suffrage. School shootings that didn’t end with Columbine. Even getting told off for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
The groundwork was already there, always, neatly laid out for this sort of neo-Nazi bullshit. And people are surprised?
