It is more important than never to be independent from the US tech

Europe may lack strong political leadership at the moment, but that doesn’t mean we lack power. Our strength lies in our massive consumer market. If we can unite as consumers, we can deal serious financial damage to American corporations that back Trump. Companies like Amazon, ChatGPT, Google and Meta must understand that supporting Trump will cost them far more than they gain. A coordinated boycott could even create divisions within U.S. corporate and political leadership.

Imagine the impact of a large-scale European movement, millions of consumers choosing to stop ordering from Amazon, pulling ad revenue from Meta, X, and Google, canceling Apple TV, Amazon Prime and ChatPGT and refusing to buy another Tesla. These companies rely on Europe for billions in revenue. If we hit them where it hurts, their wallets, they might rethink their support for Trump and his allies.

This isn’t about waiting for politicians. This is about ordinary Europeans taking control, using the one weapon we all have: our spending power.
