      While Merz talks about Europe leaving America behind and becoming independent because America is de facto our enemy, Trump spins this as a win.

      I legit think he (and other Americans) don’t understand that “conservative” in Europe is FAR from the American conception of “conservative.” They’re completely different things. That aside I actually think he has no idea who or what CDU and Merz are. He probably thinks “his” people won. Merz has already issued statements about decoupling from the US, strengthening EU ties and military and so forth with which I fully agree.

      Scholtz was center-left. Friedrich Merz is
      center-right. The Bundestag, (German Parliament), is the Federal Legislative
      Power…… Trump has already tried to
      “remove Congress,” from the American
      process. Germany will remain a country
      under the “rule of law.”

      I don’t even know what to say anymore. Not even two days ago Merz openly said that Europe needs to distance itself from the US BECAUSE of trump and his administration.
