After failing with their very Moscow friendly resolution at the UN – the Europeans managed to change it significantly so that Russia is now mentioned as the clear aggressor – the US voted against another UN resolution calling for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, together with Belarus and North Korea!

I appreciate what Macron is trying to do but think it’s useless. Zelensky and European leaders are trying to still get maximum out of US relations, but the UN vote shows that is in vain. At some point calling Trump out for what he is might be more productive. If the US continues along this path we will have to stop playing nice, even if there are short term downsides.
I think I’ve learned that people can just talk over Trump at this stage of his life. Leaders should just get him in a room in front of cameras. He looks weak.
