Keep in mind that Starlink’s services in Ukraine aren’t free—they’re funded by Ukraine’s allies.

Nevertheless, Ukraine remains deeply grateful to Starlink and allies for saving Ukrainian lives.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. If Trump imposes EU tariffs of 25%, the EU should also impose 25% on Starlink. Put some spirit into the Musk-Trump team.

    3. Dear Starlink,

Fire your CEO if you want any credibility when you speak.

    4. Them saying this worries me even more. Ketamine boy is not to be trusted.

    5. Late-Ad4964 on

So it’s true then! As they say, never believe anything until the Kremlin denies it!

    6. Deep_Blue_Kitsune on

Lets see what their social media team comes up with if Mr Orange tells them to cut the service

    7. Elven Musk saying that Ukraine being cut off from Starlink is just a rumor convinces me that Ukraine will be cut off from Starlink.

    8. Professional_Cut_105 on

I believe Poland had something to say about this, seeing as they are paying for the service to Ukraine.

    9. I don’t understand. No one spread any rumors. It was their CEO who said that it could be suspended. Is they are saying that their CEO’s twitter account was hacked?

    10. Garant_69 on

*”Any rumors to the contrary are categorically false”* until further notice…

Funny that Elon talks big and all but let the Chinese scammer gang to roam free in the South East Asian countries scamming people with his Saltarlink as a tool(since those countries suspended all electricities and internet on them)

Yeah but i’m concerned about security of intel. Who knows what game they are playing.

      For now.

Those two buffons are vindictive, impulsive, and they have no idea about the big picture.

    14. Intrepid-Leather-417 on

Yeah because musk and his companies would never lie🙄

    15. SWatt_Officer on

Well your boss seems to think Ukraine is the bad guy now, so how long until he declares that unless they surrender, starlink gets taken?

    16. DjSapsan on

putin said the same up to the last second before the invasion

    17. Toska762x39 on

I wonder if it’s slowly clicking that the entire world is turning against Musk and Trump and that maybe they need to slow their role or stances.

US negotiators are using all sorts of lies and threats to try to bend Ukraine to Russia/USA’s will. Will they follow through on every threat? Who knows. But its a lie to call it a “rumor” when its a threat that was made by official US negotiators.

Therefore, this starlink tweet trying to say it was only a “rumor “is not factual. Starlink is lying.

Categorically false at this moment. But it may not be categorically false tomorrow.

Translation: this shit is 100% true cuz I’m (muskrat) a fucking horrible human

    21. RedHeron on

It won’t stop operating, it will simply give all information if any intelligence value to Russia or NK.

    22. TechnoVik1ng on

Remember that Russia didn’t start a full scale invasion until they said it wouldn’t happen.

    23. GarlicThread on

Another reason for Europe to massively speed up and scale up the IRIS^(2) program. StarLink is a liability, heck, a weapon of war that will be used against us when the American fascists deem it appropriate to throttle or disable it.

    24. kmoonster on

      Do not trust Elon Musk.

That was true even before he went full wtf.

    25. Kahzootoh on

I believe that everyone at SpaceX wants to honor its contractual obligations, except for its CEO/majority shareholder. Starlink is being paid to provide services.

Elon is on the path to take his Twitter style mismanagement to his other companies.
