Still they would have a lack of equipment. MBT, IFV ?, rocket artillery, etc.

So there’s about 6M Ukrainian refugees in EU, 68% of them are working age, 35% of which are adult males. Let’s say half of that number are people eligible for draft. Which leaves us with almost 700k adult males that can be mobilized now instead of after the attack and make sure the attack never happens on your soil.

To deter Russia a million strong army is required
Technical superiority is nothing when you dont have enough manpower.

‘Mobilize’ must be the wrong word here. Finland, a country of 5M can do that today. 870 000 with reservist. Norway, a country of 3.5M could do the same in the ’80ies. These 300 000 must refer to standing, operational, and rapid reaction forces. By introducing a draft military, Europe can rapidly increase its strength. That is, rapid, as in 3-5y… With any other solution, we better start learning words as ‘tavarich’.

I’d suggest each of Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Italy and the UK should have 300k with the remaining nations having a smaller sum each also
