Trump and his right wing evangelical crew are moving back to a time when marcantalism was an economic policy, it can’t work in the modern world.
Anyway, people need to be resilient. Europe has enough countries, people, money and resources as well as diplomatic ties to work around this.

This is a horrible situation but sheds light on a problem we couldn’t have ignored any longer and that was dependence on the USA and how that weakened Europe. Much like the Russian energy reliance but even worse. Never mind wars, borders or any of the bluster. Just make Europe a great place for people to live and thrive in and that will turn the tide.

The cars are literally too big for European roads, and the food the EU doesn’t accept is garbage that doesn’t meet the food safety standards. Produce better quality food and it can be sold in the EU. This isn’t rocket science.

Put a 25% tariff on American car brands and 200% on American car brands that do EVs exclusively and/or have their owner spending money into EU and US politics. Not aiming for anybody.

Screw your friends and cozy up to your enemies. Yeah, that makes lots of sense. I feel sorry for the Americans that tried to stop this but it’s hard to feel sympathy for the ones who voted for Trump and the ones who couldn’t be bothered to vote.
