Don’t mix English and German so much. Stick to one language. Looking at your resume, I’m also not certain where you did get “10+ years in tech industry”.

Didn’t really read through it, but don’t mix languages and your education part is confusing. Did you actually get degrees? If so, list them. For example it looks like you went to harvard (and if you put it there you’d be expected to have a degree from there), but if I’m not mistaken [you just did a 6 weeks self pace online course?](https://www.harvardonline.harvard.edu/course/cs50s-computer-science-business-professionals) If so, that just gives off really scammy vibes, especially if right below that you have a separate category for “certificates”. Also your “10+ years” of experience don’t make sense from your resume.

I’m no recruiter, so I can’t evaluate your application, but I reckon you would have better luck if your German knowledge improved.

Had a brief look on your CV. There is a big confusion. Are you a software developer or more like e-commerce manager/business intelligence etc?

The structure is extremely unfriendly especially in ATS time.

      I would suggest to:
      – make it upside down with skills first and Bildung last
      – express languages on top with clear naming like b2/fluent/native
      – contacts on top

      At least

    6. I’m no expert, but when I look at CVs, I like consistency. You’re mixing English and German, which is confusing. It makes me think I’m about to read a German section, but then it’s in English.

Use a site like Canva to build your CV and AI tools to fine-tune it. Take the job description and your CV, throw them into GPT, and tell it to match them.A lot of big companies use AI to filter through CVs. If you don’t match certain criteria and keywords, your application might end up in the rejection pile.

Did you actually get degrees at UOP and Harvard? Because putting them there without a degree just looks pretentious or obfuscating. Especially the harvard one looks like it. Certificiates are also not part of your education.

Why are your headlines in german and the rest in english?

For the job descriptions, be either more general or more precise. The way it is now it just reads like fluff. No one knows if a 35% increase in average order value is good, magnificient or the bare minimum without extra info.

A lot of german employers are not a fan of the small about me blip, because it should be part of your motivational letter if they want one. If not, that part is irrelevant.

If you add languages, you should either drop german if it is soo little. Better would be to give actual values like A2 or B1. People will be more shy hiring you if your german is shit. Especially in a field like E-Commerce or Admin.

Those circles for the languages look extremely weird. Is that supposed to be A1 German? A2? Does it mean you know however much of a percentage of the language’s entire vocabulary?

Get language certificates that express an actual language level.

Also, while photos on CVs can still be a thing, that photo has about half the size of your entire CV. That is overdone.

The summary, as is usually the case with those, is almost completely fluff and does not say anything specific about what you can actually do.

Take a look at German CVs and then adapt accordingly. Also it really is not clear if you are technical or not from that CV – better to make two versions one aimingat technical roles and one at more business centered roles.

Additionally, don’t mix languages and I have no idea what degrees you got msc, bsc etc.

For starters: You don‘t speak good German and the marketplace is tough right now.

Then looking at your CV the most obvious flaw is mixing German and English. Stick to one of the two.

In the education section you don’t list actual degrees. Also you wrote Harvard in there like you graduated, even though you only took a course. People don’t take it too kindly if you try to mislead them.

The whole thing about you having a job in Oman and the US at the same time also raises questions.
