Zelensky showing everyone what a true leader is, and you could feel Trump and Vance being intimidated. They were resorting to bullying instead of speaking of real facts and topics while Zelensky kept his cool.

I remember Trump stating during his campaign, that he wants the world to respect the US again. After only just more than a single month in power, there now is no way on earth he can regain any sort of respect whatsoever.

You have to remember, all this show is for US internal politics. Trump couldn’t care less if there is a war in Europe or not.
He needs to show the domestic lawmakers he can produce results (artificial or not, doesn’t matter) in order to push forward his own agenda of lining the pockets of himself and his friends in the four short years he has.
Trump’s track record of ”making deals” in international scene is very slim. In 2016-2020 he basically didn’t manage to do shit, which is probably a blessing to us all.
