      While Ireland should indeed spend more on defense, I confess that the more I hear this talking point coming from people like him or various of the more rabid Tories/Reform types in GB, I do rather wonder how they’d feel if Ireland was really rather well armed.

      What if Ireland had nuclear weapons, cruise missiles, cyber attack capabilities, ASW capabilities in the Irish sea and the North Western Approaches, air defense systems that reached out several hundred km. I wonder how they’d feel about that.
