A lot of expensive infrastructure that will be constantly broken and expensive to repair and expensive to monitor and expensive to respond. Will end up like CFL and not actually reduce incidents.
Depends. If used in a constructive manner, to apprehend criminals and convict them, then i think it is great. Can make the community safer, then all the better.
If just used for stats and with no tangible effects ( thus prevent crime or take criminals off the streets), then it is just a waste of tax payer money.

We will have more than 360 cameras. Maybe the police will catch 9 people per year instead of 7. Success?
