      Probably the more talented vocally of the three in terms of singing ballads. Best of luck to him. All still mates which is good.

      I must say I didn’t enjoy his vocals the most out of the three of them. No doubt on his talent of course but not for me.

      Love the Mary Wallopers though, can’t wait to see them this summer.

      For the uninitiated – give any of these a listen: Cod Liver Oil, Gates of Heaven, Building Up and Tearing England Down, The Butcher Boy.

      Those for me were the gateway for me.

      He’s the best of them on guitar. Wrote some tunes on their last album too. A big big loss.

      They’d a relentless touring schedule. What a band. Really summoning something special all these lads and the extended crew. He’s obviously not in it for the money to be turning down all those gigs. Hope he does well and the others keep trucking.
