I found this in a gift shop in Saariselkä selling Saami handicrafts but the shopkeepers couldn’t tell me what it was. They said it could possibly be decorative but that was more of a guess than anything.

I think it is “tärppä”, which is used to poke small holes in traditional finnish rieska (flatbread) dough before baking. It is more decorative item today as so few make rieska anymore.
