That’s the whole point.
Trump knows the globe will do anything to maintain stability.
Trump knows he can invade a country and the world won’t do a fucking thing.
Trump knows this because he watched Putin do it and the world didn’t do shit.
I don’t like it, I don’t agree with it, but I understand why it’s happening.

A bit far-stretched, but do you think that EU is now doomed to become a real federation before 2050?
The Euro-centric trends are exaggerated by a real threat of a very brutal war – with brothers, dads or husbands of many European citizens being at the risk of draft, wound, crippling or death.

I don’t understand why Trump is still having the attention on this matter. To Zelenskyy, you don’t need to go to White House again. US exited. It’s over for them. Focus on your allies to win this. Just ignore the US and Trump alltogether.

The EU and the rest of the world won’t forget what Trump did to Zelensky and the EU — and it’ll be hard to trust U.S. again.

Europe should absolutely teach Trump a lesson and totally support Zelenskky with only European arms and soldiers- cut the US out altogether. Europe doesn’t need the US.

I don’t understand why the news is still using the US narrative of a negotiated Ukraine peace deal, when it’s clear now that the only thing on offer is a surrender that will at best leave some US interests in the country (if that is a good thing) while it’s carved up by Trump and Putin. Can’t we talk about the US supported surrender instead of sugar coating it as a peace deal ?

Why are we doing these drawings and calling it a day? They’re fine, but it’s just fuel to feel smarmy like we have the moral high ground.

Neither did Trump.
Denying aid because of the minerals deal, could be viewed as a breach of the Budapest memorandum…
The United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the Principles of the CSCE Final Act, to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.

Zielinski has all the cards. Trump and Putin are the ones that want Ukraine. Zielinsky’s in the driver’s seat. They’re the ones chasing zielinski, not the other way around. He can name the terms on both sides.
