      Isn’t Northern Ireland still occupied by Britain or was this question not directed at Ireland in general?

      it would make the drive to Galway or dublin a bit awkward, but yeah

      Think you have to be more practical.

      If you give up Limerick, getting from or to Kerry/ Cork from anywhere else in the country becomes a serious pain.

      ‘Twould be Cavan for me I think.

      I realise its not the point, but Limerick is amazing. I love that city. The big shocking thing for me since being two decades removed from living in the West is that Limerick is now clearly the superior city to Galway, while Galway was always a mile ahead back in the day.

      Dublin. Wall it off, a dictatorship might clean up the kip. Throw a bit of gear over the wall a few times a day and let the scum fight to the death for it. That’s if you can class it as Ireland these days
