La mia banca in Italia dice che non possono scambiarli in euro perché presto andranno fuori dalla circolazione.

    Quanto è vera questa affermazione?

    Posso spenderli facilmente in un posto come Copenaghen o probabilmente affronterò difficoltà? Quando ero a Copenaghen l’anno scorso, ho pagato tutto con le carte di pagamento.

      Go to the bank. They expire in 2 months.
      Or just spend it and have fun.

      Few banks outside of Denmark will handle Danish cash as they can’t sell it back to Denmark without a KYC declaration.

      Yes, you can still use them in Danish stores. But the shops are allowed to refuse large bills, so you may need to go to a few different places before you find someone that will accept them.

      They go out of circulation May 31st, after that date you won’t be able to use them in shops or banks. So it looks like you’re going to visit Denmark really soon (or lose ~670€)!

      You can though, for one year (so until May 31st 2026) go to the Danish national bank and exchange them, but it’s probably a lot of hassle to do so, you don’t normally just go to the national bank.

      Go to a casino, you can usually exchange foreign currency there.
