      Trump lambasts Europe for its dependency on US protection. But this situation was designed by the US. The last time Europe took military initiative on its own led to the Suez crisis in 1956, with great prestige loss for France and especially Britain. Since then, the US has sabotaged every European attempt at military autonomy.
