Because we either integrate ukraine in our defense structure, or it will eventually be conquered by russia and its people turned around to conquer another land.

In spite of the other commenters, i actually in some ways agree, while yes, Ukraine is a strong military power, they do not guarantee peace. BUT a Russian victory would embolden Russia to attack other nations, thereby peace is not possible.
So to be more exact, a Russian victory will make peace impossible. Not that Ukraine is Needed for peace.
But the existence of Ukraine is needed, in whatever form that doesn’t give Russia a win.

Ukraine is currently, de facto shield against Russia plunging its teeth into the softer belly of the Balkans through Moldavia, Serbia, etc.

Really hoping Zaluzhny is interested in the office of president after the war is over, it’d be fantastic to have him at the helm

Agreed, fully.
Would be an absolute honor to have the brave and fierce Ukranian men and women in Europe.
They changed the way wars are fought. Highly intelligent, very adaptive, and fearless.
We can learn so much of them.

Ukrainian army is crumbling and retreating every single day. Their troops in Kursk region are basically surrounded per Reuters.
Guys, can we start being a bit more realistic?

Ray Dalio predicted this outcome, I recommend everyone check out his video on changing world orders for a historical perspective on how the world has changed throughout ages and now it seems China will rise to take over the mantle for better or worse…
