Questa sembra una punizione davvero estrema, giusto?
Il risultato è stato chiaramente molto sfortunato, ma alla gente non dovrebbe essere data la loro punizione in base al risultato ma piuttosto all’azione. Non è come guidare 200 km/h mentre ubriaco è improvvisamente bene perché non hai causato un incidente, quindi il fatto sfortunato un uomo anziano ha preso una cattiva caduta e alla fine non è morto dovrebbe avere un impatto (troppo) la punizione.
190k per aver superato un pedone che si trova fuori inaspettatamente sembra molto, molto duro.

I know nothing so take this with a grain of salt.
But if I understand correctly the €190k are damages and not a fine? So it’s not really a punishment. Like if you accidentally break someone’s television, you need to pay for a new tv. It’s just that people are expensive.
And as such I would expect the insurance to pay for this? That’s why you need to have a “familiale verzekering”.
