Are they really gonna invade Ukraine? I assume it’s a good thing now that I live on east?

    2. It’s going to be funny when they leave Rammstein and realize how utterly fucked their supply chain is without it.

Looks like Putin gave Krasnov the order to move US troops to his fellow puppet’s land. Can’t have anything happen when he invades the Baltics.

Why not Romania, though? It would make more sense since the U.S. is already building one of the biggest NATO bases there.

If Russia is the threat, isn’t this a positive for Europe?

Russia’s route to Germany is through eastern NATO countries and it’ll encourage Germany to step up

Well done Germany…you could save yourself from American invasion after 50 years 😂

Nothing to do with there being a Hungarian election in a years time and Orban will need the possibility of an evac if things don’t go his way and he fails to step down.

This will be clear EU election interference.

    10. This is actually sensible. Hungary leader is known to have sympathies with Putin, so if an insurrection was to happen, this is where it would start. They need to keep a close eye on munitions movements into Hungary.

If this happens, I can’t understand the logic behind it (beyond the intrinsic idiocy of the U.S. administration): if it’s a ‘hostile’ act towards Europe, how are they going to efficiently manage the supply to Hungary? It’s a landlocked country. If it’s not a hostile act, why bother with it and lose all the magnificent existing infrastructure? Not to mention all the relocating costs.

It seems like another stupid idea they’ve pulled out of thin air to irritate (former) allies, but if someone has an explanation…

America and Russia were never friends. Even that America saved Russia in WWII it wasn’t an act of friendship, it was to use it against the 3rd Reich.
Trump is either playing a very bad theater and in fact trying to trick Putin into thinking they are besties, or they agreed to split the weak countries. On one side Putin fulfills his wet dream of reinstating USSR and becoming an emperor and on the other side Trump get’s a possible ally against China. On third side China is free to take Taiwan back without US involvement but Trump gets a get out of the mud free card to take Greenland one way or the other, because Europe is too busy focusing on stopping Putin. We’ve already seen those movies. After WWI and WWII
