      We forced the schools to teach our bullshit propaganda. We created a dirty war against Spain, knowing we could win and gain new territories. We didn’t join World War I until the very last year of the war. And we take credit for winning. Then even more egregiously, we didn’t enter the European theater in World War II until the last year of the war. Nixon promised to get us out of Vietnam in 1968. He was hounded out of office before we finally limped out in 1975 with an additional 21,000 dead because he needed to be seen as a “wartime” president. We talk a big game and then sneak in the stage door at the last minute and act like we saved the world.

      This is a very depressing time for our country, AI or not it does capture our despair. How could we turn our back on Ukraine?

      Its hard to comprehend how far we have fallen, depressing and disgusting. The rest of the civilized world sees us as a bunch of shit for brains assholes. Since half our country voted this orange turd in that sentiment is unfortunately true.

      How is democracy going to function in the future when seemingly every Western country now has a fascist party as the main opposition and we’re all one election away from a Trump style meltdown?

      Let’s not pretend this is just an American phenomenon.

      The fascist party is now second place in Britain which means we will never be trusted to rejoin the EU because every 4 years we risk them getting in and ripping us back out again.

      I have no idea how the West gets out of this spiral without a major war. And even then the people who will die in that war will largely be the younger, non-fascist voters…
