Pettson gets crazy ideas sometimes.
The stool ofc need boots for its legs since it now doubles as Pettsons foot and feet have boots! #logic 😀
Didn’t he hurt his leg, and he uses it as a support leg to be able to walk. The boots are obvious since you need boots if you are out walking.
IIRC he sprained his ankle and wants to rest it, and is using the stool to support himself – the boots though? Probably a solution to a problem. Pettson is rather idiosyncratic, so maybe it’s how he solves the issue of the stool otherwise scratching the floor!
It’s from the book where they celebrate Christmas. Pettson hurts his leg and creates this solution to be able to walk around. In this picture Pettson is showing Findus what little is left of the gingerbread dough, and wonders if perhaps some cat has been stealing from the bowl. Looks like Christmas will be tough this year.
