Trust me, most of them get all the concepts, they just don’t care.
I think it is usually better to change line as soon as possible because may the opportunity goes away to properly and effetively merge.
If all the lines are full then its may indeed be better to zipper merge at the end of the traffic lane
Honestly, the right way to do it is however protects the intended zipper merge – unfortunately, the concept of a zipper merge is a non-understood one in Armenia.
All of the Midwestern US needs this lesson as well.
The thing that frustrates me the most is how traffic jams are just artificially prolonged by idiots just changing lanes whenever there is 1m of space. I get it, we all want to get where we want to go, but by doing that everyone has to wait that much longer. And even the one who does it maybe shortens his wait by 2 seconds, if he is lucky.
That sort of behaviour is not exclusive to Armenia, but it is just so much more here than everywhere else I have been.
