So, at the very least, Russia was forced to blow through a bunch of air defense munitions. But let’s be real. I seriously doubt Russia shot down even half that number.
It’ll be interesting to see if and how Trump reacts. Since he was OK with Russia’s attacks, will he have anything negative to say about this?
The other angle to watch is around the partial truce that Zelenskyy proposed. This action may be to remind Russians in Moscow that they are not immune from air actions so that they feel more inclined to back a truce.
