      I have faith that Ukraine will get the best deal they can out of this without compromising their future security.

      I’m proud of the EU, Canada, and Australia stepping up to take Ukraine’s back. It gives Ukraine a hell of a lot more leverage in making a deal.

      So Russia doesn’t give up a thing. Not even reparations, while Ukraine cedes territory and pays the U.S. 5x what it got in aid. The U.S. is a Russian asset and can’t be trusted.

      It would be hard to believe any security guarantee that isnt immediate NATO membership. Ukraine already paid for security with its nukes and look how that has turned out.

      What I don’t understand about not offering security guarantees is: Which companies are crazy enough to invest billions of dollars and infrastructure into a mine that’s obviously just going to be invaded by Russia again? How are you going to find staff to volunteer to die in Ukraine – not for its sovereignty but its minerals…
