      >The garda told the accused that he had to leave or he would be arrested for trespassing. Ó Snodaigh failed to do so and jumped over a staff counter, Gda Piech said.

This is the sort of thing that shouldn’t be in the news and wouldn’t be but for connection.

And we’ve a terrible lack of respect for Alcohol in this country. The older I get the more I see it.

A family of gobshites. [If Aengus Ó Snodaigh isn’t objecting to 200 social/affordable homes in his constituency](https://m.independent.ie/irish-news/sinn-fein-td-aengus-o-snodaigh-objects-to-plans-for-development-of-208-homes-in-his-constituency/a90341705.html) [he’s worrying about 5G](https://www.businesspost.ie/home/sinn-fein-writes-to-dublin-city-council-with-potential-health-concerns-over-5g-masts/), and[ if he’s not doing that his office is using €50,000 worth of ink cartridges from the Oireachtas](https://www.rte.ie/news/2012/0228/314000-osnodaigha/) and [then if he’s not doing these things he’s attempting to storm the Dail](https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/batons-drawn-as-sf-storms-seat-of-power/26702000.html)

Whatever you think of Sinn Féin, or O’Sondaigh, does this really merit this level of reporting?

Sure, cases are all heard in public but most people will not get a full write up in a national paper over something this minor. Hard to get out from under that too.

Time for this chap to grow up a bit, stop drinking, and maybe seek a bit of help.

Should this make the news? Probably not.

The entitled little princling. No problem though Daddy will fix everything.

Imagine ths shinner-gasm if this was the son of an FFG TD

Easy enough for people to fall into this trap and cycle. Good to see he’s in college in London and hopefully that gives him a bit of direction. Some of us, including myself, aren’t built for drinking but it often takes a bit of time for us to sober up to that reality. Not much you can do as a parent except keep an eye out and hope for the best, most of the time.

I know this scumbag. He’s been using daddy’s reputation to escape the repercussions of his actions since he was a child. It’ll never end.

Some family. He was up before for stabbing his brother. The brother was up for spitting at a guard. There mother was done for throwing a pint glass at a guard. Her sister was calling the guards free state bastards.

This is pretty standard behaviour from SF to be fair.

My local SF TD was also in court for telling the guards to fuck off.

There is a 90% chance that a person named Lorcan is a fucking dose.

      I don’t make the rules.

    12. What does his father’s job have to do with it beyond prurience?

oh man i feel for him. i was a troubled young man and its a fucking nightmare. ireland ain’t the easiest spot to give up the drink. it can be done but it from my own experience it takes a lot of shame and pain and suffering to really try and change. and it sucks tour dad is a TD!
