Did they have to kick out the local AA group for the space?

    2. The same Turks who keep threatening Greece, an EU-NATO member and who pushed millions of refugees on the border to try and get more EU funds?

So, this is how 300 hundred years ago the tennis court oath came to be.

“at the begginning of 21st century, military leaders gathered together in a class room and took an oath.”

I was concerned as I thought France and Turkey would not be sitting at the same table regarding Macron’s comments on not wanting to spend that extra 150B€ on non-EU partners(Including UK & Turkey). I’m happy to see that once again we are aligning with Europe when it matters the most. It will only get better once we have early elections in Turkey and our new pro-EU govt lead by social democrats take over.

S&D invited CHP to speak, but Ursula Von Der Leyen refused to pay a welcome and preferred only to speak to Erdogan. While I personally appreciate her efforts to include Turkey as it will help with our relationship with Europe; I can’t help but feel like it would be nice to connect with CHP when they are strongly Pro-EU and will most likely win next election. It’s not the end of the world though, she convinced France to include UK & Turkey for 600 + 150b€ plan and that alone is a big flex in my honest opinion.

This is a great picture in a happy room, glad to be back to our roots.

Everyone else is making jokes but I find it quite grounding to know they cared more about having a chat than the quality of the room they had to have a chat in.

Damn, why does the Turkish Chiefs of Staff seem to be superior in rank to the others? The difference in uniforms is very noticeable.

I would put France in second place tho.
