Ho prenotato questo viaggio qualche tempo fa, ma l’ultima gamba da CHEB a Praga è stata cancellata. Capisco di poter portare qualsiasi altro treno DB quel giorno a destinazione. Questo si applica ancora ai treni non DB? Sarei in grado di prendere il Prag Spezial quel giorno in quanto non è gestito da DB?

Yes you can take any connection. Just take the ALX from Mumich directly to Prague, I don’t know why you didn’t take that one in the first place.
You can use your original tix to take the Nürnberg –> Schwandorf –> Praha RE trains. Be aware that the connecting time at Schwandorf is only 6 minutes. High probability of missing this connection, next train is 2 hr later. I missed connection at this station twice last year. FYI, Schwandorf station is just a small old shack without DB staff. Inside is a kiosk (snacks/drinks/candies) and a cafe with a few tables. WC is inside the cafe and you’ll need 1 Euro coin to use it. There is no waiting lounge or benches to sit on, no free DB wifi. BTW, there are direct Flixbus between Munich–Prague and Nürnberg–Prague.
