Putler want’s to “remove underlying causes”?
So he will commit suicide. Great!
I start to love Putler…he is going to be the “peace angel” the Dumb-adminis-traitors are always telling us he is.

    3. Heinrich-der-Vogler on

That’s an interesting way to announce his resignation.

Mr. Putin, you are in luck. I have a ten story window I’d like to sell you. Last one left!

My guess is that he wants Ukraine disarmed and out of NATO, he also wants to hold on to his conquered territories with Russian speaking people, but we’ll see whether this is the case lol.

Just the guess of some random dude on the internet lol.

EDIT: Trump is also likely to make these concessions as well in the name of, “peace.”

Yeah and the United States wanted to bring “freedom and democracy” to Iraq but it didn’t happen.

That’s the spirit. When is he planning to disband russia?

    8. Fit-Bookkeeper9775 on

So in other words, Ukraine needs to be annihilated

    9. SlavaVsu2 on

the underlying cause of this war is russia wanting to grab more land

    10. Competitive-Read1543 on

by “remove the underlying causes” does he mean himself, or Russia as a whole?

    11. ShadowDevi on

It’s still talking like it’s done nothing wrong. This little piece of shit needs to catch a bullet while in freefall.

The only enduring peace the Russians will respect is if they get bombed back into the stone ages.

Maybe work his way towards that 10th floor window. I’m sure there are plenty who would help him out.

    14. Rudokhvist on

Well, he is right about one thing – ruzzia should cease to exist for a lasting peace.

    15. balamb_fish on

That is Kremlinspeak for Ukrainian surrender and removing NATO from all former Eastern block countries.

    16. Tempestzl1 on

There should be a full investigation to the cause by nato and remove the culprit with a jdam

      “underlying”

At least he used the word ‘lying’ in a sentence. It’s a perfect description of everything he says about anything.

For the Russians, the underlying cause of their latest episode of genocide is their inexcusably pathological insecurity relative to the Ukrainians.

Russians make up the stereotyped wifе-bеаtеr in nation-state form by doing the geopolitical equivalent of screaming self-righteously at the top of their [makhorka](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotiana_rustica#Russia)-stained lungs “Look at what you made me do!!!!!”

The rational answer to their violent inferiority complex is that they are to get their ѕhіt together and stop getting high on the fumes of their longstanding self-aggrandizement based on self-regard as [“first among equals” in East Slavdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All-Russian_nation). In opposition to their chauvinistically ahistorical self-regard as the oh-so-civilized “Great Russians” of Muscovy, the Belarusians are “White **Russians**” and the Ukrainians are “*Little* **Russians**”.

Even one of their supposedly [world-renowned historians from the last century](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Likhachev) spelled out how delusionally obsessional he and his fellow Russians have been about “saving” the Ukrainians, a “brotherly” people.

      >*…there is the view that the very idea of Russia without Little Russia, or Ukraine is inconceivable. The dean of twentieth-century Russian specialists of Kievan Rus’, Dmitrii Likhachev, best summed up this attitude: “Over the course of the centuries following their division into two entities, Russia and Ukraine have formed not only a political by also a culturally dualistic unity.* ***Russian culture is meaningless without Ukrainian cutlure, as Ukrainian is without Russian.****”*

(Magocsi, P.R. “A History of Ukraine: The Land and its Peoples”, 2010)

That last sentence that I’ve bolded is chilling. “*Russian culture is meaningless without Ukrainian culture as Ukrainian is without Russian*”.

As we see in real-time, this attitude in Russian academia has formed the intellectual bedrock for the Russians’ genocide in Ukraine ranging from straight up murder and rаре to systematic abduction of Ukrainian kids and looting of Ukrainian cultural artifacts.

    19. Making irrational demands like this means they are not going to accept the ceasefire and are just looking for an excuse now. They must be aleady losing badly and don’t want to give Ukraine time to reinforce defenses more.

Your occupation of land that is not yours should be on the list too, dip shit.

    21. Ibeepboobarpincsharp on

Putin, jumping out of a window: “I’ve ended the war! Witness me!”

    22. BayouGal on

Putin wants to “remove” the Ukrainian people. See, problem solved.

    23. vms-crot on

      Well that’s fucking easy.

All the Russians go back to Russia, all the Ukrainians back to Ukraine, the internationally recognised borders of Ukraine, as it was before the annexation of Crimea.

Wow, who knew how easy it was to solve world peace! Why didn’t we do this sooner?

    24. Monkeyhonker on

As far as I can tell he would not have invaded Ukraine had they been in NATO. So the underlying cause of this crisis is Ukraine did not have NATO membership. Looks like Putler is insisting Ukraine join NATO, yes?
