By Theo Burman – Live News Reporter:

Several Tesla vehicles were set on fire in Germany on Friday, as protests against Elon Musk’s car company continue across the world.

German police said that four vehicles were set ablaze in the Plänterwald and Steglitz neighborhoods of Berlin, and that political motives could not be ruled out.

Maybe Tesla has already achieved AGI and the Cars self-imolate out of protest and shame

    3. DrKaasBaas on

While I disapprove of any criminal activity and destroying other people’s stuff, I must admit I would like to see the market share of Tesla drop to 0% in Europe.

    4. New-Restaurant1121 on

I guess that hits just the owners, but not the mainproblem called Elon Musk….

    5. Shot_Pianist_8242 on

How setting fellow citizen car on fire is a protest? That just vandalism. And since it’s politically motivated and dangerous it close to being terrorism. Because at one point someone gonna get really hurt and then government will have to give extra attention to those people.

And what is most funny is that brainless idiots who do this to regular people were probably encouraging people to buy Tesla few years back because of climate change.

And this is especially stupid because it’s not even US. Like how is some German responsible for what Musk is doing in USA?

It’s funny how easily far-left turn into terrorists moment things do not go their way. And they always said they are the good guys and the other guys are the bad guys. Well who is torching citizens cars now? Definitely not “the good guys”.

Boycotting is one thing, but arson and property damage is another.

    7. BeautifulTale6351 on

Imagine buying a car you like, then seeing the diots clapping when it is set on fire. Buying a certain car is not a political statement. Destroying someone’s private property to make a political statement is shortsighted and stupid.

    8. Can’t say this makes me sad, but they should target dealerships instead of owners. That will hit the company much harder than destroying cars that have already been paid for

    9. lotsagabe on

let’s fuck over fellow Europeans by destroying their cars…that’ll show Elon!

      /s

    10. djlorenz on

Yeah so can we avoid that please? Tesla owners are not nazis, the problem is the CEO not normal people

    11. Heuchelei on

This is a terrible thing to do. Feel sorry for the firefighters who probably had their naps interrupted to respond to this.

    12. Inevitable-Pie-8020 on

I am totally against the destruction of private person’s property, however i wouldn’t shed a tear if this happened to a tesla dealership for example

    13. ImRubensi on

Yep this is going to backfire against them. As always… The climate change protesters are the best example.

    14. OliveCompetitive3002 on

The left is doing stupid and criminal things while feeling on the good and brave side.

No, Folks. It is neither brave nor Right nor justified to burn private persons Cars just because you dont Like the owner of the Brand.

    15. My parents bought a tesla 3 years ago and want it to drive them until they can not drive cars anymore.

I fully understand the hate towards Musk and his products, but please keep it off peoples private property. Most are unable to afford to switch to an alternative and bought their cars at a time when he was a weird dude who had yet to become the danger he is today.

    16. Reasonable_Bat_1209 on

Totally against this. Especially if these cars were bought by people before he went mad. For environmental reasons too.

    17. mage_irl on

Congratulations, your next car insurance just got more expensive

    18. rivensoweak on

i must say i really dont like this trend, as hateable as musk and the brand are nowadays, it cant be that regular people who maybe bought their teslas 8 years ago have to pay for it, this is a giant pile of cash being burned from the average joe who may or may not have absolutly 0 to do with this entire thing

    19. politicooooo on

Soooo are we now destroying people’s lives because we hate someone else? If you hate Elon so much maybe grow some balls and find a way to face HIM. The economy is bad and people can’t afford buying a kia pocanto, so plz stop vandalizing people’s properties.

PS. Moat insurance companies don’t reimburse hate crime damages, so you’re leaving the people literally without a car.

    20. MrCaptainMorgan on

The comments here are absolutely terrifying and remind me more of certain times in Germany than anything Musk’s statements suggest in terms of parallels. Since when has terrorism – and this is the purest definition of terrorism of all, when, for example, attacks are carried out on car dealers because you disagree with a person’s political views – become the social consensus in certain circles? Or is it just extremists here in the sub?

    21. Mannalug on

People don’t understand how hard it ti’s to put down EV fire! It’s not only attack on private property but also harming the efficiency of the fire department and that is the issue!

    22. Sometimes the invisible hand of the market sets things on fire, normal capitalism.

    23. GamingCatholic on

As a Tesla driver, I hate Musk so much that I hope they will kick (maybe also physically) him out of the company somehow, but at the same time I will sue the person who will damage my car.
It’s still private property and it doesn’t help the situation forward if consumers are targeted. Especially if the car was bought before this whole debacle and don’t have the means to just replace it.

    24. MaHeGa89 on

      This is extremely stupid.

Do these arsonists think that anyone who drives a Tesla is now a Nazi?

Or that anyone can just immediately replace their Tesla with another car?
