Is there a „Use Any Train“ notes now since you‘ll arrive 20 minutes later? Normally yes and thus you can take any ICE… to Nürnberg.
Is the ICE at 08:44 also passing Nürnberg? If yes normally you can told the conductor about your case and sometime they’ll let you ride 1-2 stop more.
