Qual è il problema con i salatini? Mi sembra che ogni volta che un brezel attraversa il confine tedesco nel resto del mondo, diventa immediatamente un pretzel. Anche una catena come Bäckwerk vende pretzel a posto di brezels. Come mai? Pensavo che un pretzel fosse un nome americano per uno spuntino salato (come le patatine) e una brezel è una sorta di pane tedesco. Per me (ma sono olandese) sembra l’apropiazione culturale. Qual è la tua opinione?

Pretzel is the English word for Brezel? Not sure what you’re getting at here.
Pretty sure Pretzel is just the english name for Bretzel. We also have those salty crackers in Germany, and they are called Brezel as well. The fact that these crackers are more common in the US, doesn’t change the fact that Pretzel translates the Word Brezel.
