      The strain on the economy will be strong but it is necessary to show the US that tariffs are disastrous. Trump needs to lose and lose badly.

      A Recession would hurt a lot of people especially the poor, but at this point it’s the only option

      US? Can we produce those things in the EU countries? If not, can we import it from somewhere else without paying tariffs?

      Strong response will actually kill two birds with one stone: it will most likely result in Trump backing off… and it will affect US economy negatively. At some point, people who wanted “cheap eggs” should realize that they are not going to get any.

      Time for the EU to start enforcing the Digital Services Act on Meta and X. It was created to prevent illegal and harmful activity online – let’s force these companies to do something or see how they feel about paying 6% of their global turnover in fines for each breach.

      Nice social networks you have there. How about some taxes on the digital ads?

      Nice LLMs you got there, how about some tariffs?

      Nice chip industry you got there. How about some export restrictions on European ASML machines?

      Nice, eeh you still produce cars? Well eh, how about we limit exports on automation, car electronics, and ICE parts?

      Just prohibit the Social Media companies from using engagement based content prioritization. Never roll that policy back. Takes away a market of 450 million europeans from his broligarchs and severly cripples one of the most effective methods for russias disinformation campaign and bot networks. Takes away the most cost-effective ways to polarize the European population. There literally is no downside.

      Wait until the US retaliates with the shut down of all Nvidia, Intel, AMD CPUs and the Windows, Mac and Android operating systems in Europe. Our politicians are pushing for a war at a global scale that gives them more control and you all are allowing yourselves and your consciousness to get sucked by this trance
