If you have a uk or German account you can use the same email and password from your existing account to log into Irish one. You don’t need to make a new account.

Already seeing vastly different prices compared to .de … definitely make sure you check product prices across all the sites (assume speed of delivery isn’t an issue)

It’s great to be able to buy batteries, same day delivery, but the removal of account sharing and potential lack of prime “free shipping” availability on certain products on prime versus the UK prime account is making me apprehensive.

      [Irish Independent article here ](https://m.independent.ie/business/technology/amazonie-launches-in-ireland-with-price-cut-for-prime-subscribers/a1752603365.html)

**”The cost of Prime, which includes access to Amazon Prime Video and online photo storage, for Irish subscribers has been cut to €6.99 per month compared to £8.99 (€11) per month with the old system. Current customers who switch will receive a refund within three to five days, according to Amazon.**

**However, there’s a sting in the tail for families and readers — Amazon has removed the ‘family sharing’ facility, meaning those who use it will need to remain on the higher-priced amazon.co.uk or pay for a second or even third individual amazon.ie Prime account, increasing the household’s monthly cost. The tech giant has also removed Prime Reading as a benefit for Amazon.ie users.”**

Probably worse sales, prime day deals etc.

Assuming we will get fecked with the typical Irish tax in the rip off republic.

I’m not seeing any Subscribe & Save options. I have some supplies set up to automatically deliver and if I switch over to Ireland Prime I’m likely to lose that service and saving. They also don’t seem to offer business accounts yet.

Everything I’m comparing from my UK basket is also around 10% more expensive comparing € to €.

They’re missing a lot of stock compared to uk, hopefully will fill up at some point.
