“Tõde ja Õigus”, or in English, “Truth and Justice” is a famous novel series written from the late tsarist era into the early 1930s of Independent Estonia. Written by legacy Estonian writer A. H. Tammsaare. It’s an social and philosophy epic, five part series that covers Estonian life across this very important time and across different parts of society.
The first novel was made into a film in 2019 that is well respected in Estonia. I believe like the novel series, the films are going to be completed in five parts as well but I haven’t heard about about that recently. If someone happens to know more, please let me and others know.
