      I was totally fine with her doing it. Its just one of those things thats very unpleasant but I’m glad someone has the strength to do. Its a service to the world that she sent the message to IDF supporters and members that there are people who will make sure that their crimes will never be forgotten.

      I mean many nations rightfully hunted down former Nazis for decades after their crimes. Why should former IDF members be allowed to relax among us and be treated like normal people. They need to feel the consequences of their decision to participate in that organisation even if they were there for national service.

      I hope the next former member of the IDF planning a lovely trip to Ireland doesn’t come here or gets the same treatment when they do. They are evil.

      Spitting at someone based on their race or nationality is just racism, and there must be a self promotion motive as it is so obviously counter productive. Not spitting does not have to mean giving someone a free pass. There are many alternatives ways to show your justifiable anger. Spitting is just ignorance.

      I’m struggling with the reaction to this woman tbh. I genuinely don’t think I’d be at that myself but, I also don’t think IDF or any type of colonialising genocidal creeps should be given any kind of warm welcome in our country, considering. I mean, what she should have done was prob find his gaff while he’s out, take it over, claim it as her own and then, idk, war crime him if he came back and tried to get back in…. or something similar to what his army / gov approves of… idk…

      Fuck it, he was IDF, he boasted about his actions during the occupation on social media, then he decided to visit one of the only western countries that almost unanimously opposed Israels brutal assault. Those women tracked his social media and confronted him, it wasn’t a random attack.

      Spitting wouldn’t be my course of action, but I’ll have no sympathy for a soldier that boasted about his role in genocide.

      Does spitting on someone is an assault? I think it is. I can only speak for myself but if a man would start shouting at me and then spit on me I would probably knock him out for good measures… I’m not sure this would be applicable for a woman but assault is assault. There are no gender based privileges in it…

      I listened to the interview and your one made a lot of claims:

      – He was active IDF, not just former.

      – He went above and beyond his conscription (4 years of service). He was in a cyber warfare unit and there was a cybercrime summit in Dublin (connect the dots sheeple)! An the cyber summit was creating a list of people world wide something something.

      -The girl who spat was from village in Lebanon that had been bombed by the idf and people she knew were killed.

      – he posted pictures of himself licking the barrel of his gun.

      -he deleted/cleaned up his insta

      -She hinted that he had some sort of military fetish.

      – She claimed the company he worked for was some sort of shady shell company, that had a weird purchase history.

      My own take is that I’m not comfortable with randomers like herself harrassing people. I’m not sure she she’s in a position to make a good determination about who should or shouldn’t be harrassed. She seems genuinely upset and frustrated with the inaction on behalf of Palestinians. She said she has visited the region (Hebron) and seen some of ti first hand.
