Ooh tree law is my favourite kind of law.
We have no respect for trees in this country. I suppose nothing will happen even though it sounds like they caught them in the act.
I’d like to see laws brought in to protect trees over a certain age with significant fines or jail time for cutting down certain species of trees over a certain age,
I’m sure they’ll feel the force of the law and will be promptly punished.
The respect for nature and wildlife in Ireland is absolutely shocking. We’re not one of the worst countries in Europe from an ecological and biodiversity standpoint for no reason.

Probably crunched the numbers. If they get caught and fined which probably won’t happen,the new carpark will more than pay off the fine

If trees produced free wifi we’d have so many more all over the place and see far fewer problems like this. Too bad they just produce oxygen and scrub poison from the air…
So… fine them, declare the lease void and tell them to get fucked. I assume they have no other options for car parking.
The real story is that Westwood only pay the council 40 grand a year in rent
