Disappointing developments. The judiciary should be independent, and the entire process should be observed with patience. Instead, the opposition is calling people to the streets without any decision even being made about the situation. Basically, there are allegations of corruption against opposition candidate and Istanbul Mayor Imamoglu, amounting to more than 500 billion Turkish liras. This country will never be accepted into the EU with an opposition like that.

This is just so weird… Erdogan just brought up EU again and then immediately screw it up like this. You’d almost think he just wanted to f** himself and Turkey once again… what for though? What’s the point?

**Mustafa Kemal Atatürk** (the man depicted next to the Turkish flag on the photo) founded modern day Turkey + the party **CHP** (The Republican People’s Party).

The man who is a strong figure within **CHP** today, **Ekrem Im*****amoglu*** (The Mayor of Istanbul + projected to win over Erdogan) was incarcerated today, by Erdogan.

This is just so beyond stupid.

Imagine saying that you are for Turkey to then incarcerate the leading politician from the party **CHP** that was founded by **Atatürk**.

      Stupidity + madness.
