Damn right. As Trump is trying to make his people dumber, we get even smarter.
They’re still Americans at the end of the day. Do we *really* want them? We’ve seen who they elect as president.
The orange agent voters and supporters are by and large anti science, religious people. I am sure there are exceptions but that is the majority of MAGA and Trump likes to show off to them by attacking scientists in various fields, especially for climate and more recently simply for being foreign born. It is a great time to leave US(S).

Sounds familliar to those who studied history? The belliteling of smaller and weaker nations, the need and want for their territory, the enemy from abroad coming into the country to take advantage of the locals, deporting them to concentration camps without due process (undercut that even if found guilty, under the law they would either go to prison or deported to be trialed and imprisoned, if found guilty, in their home country) and not sent to a place where human rights do not matter….Well, check out “FDR and Policing the World: Hitler’s Threat”

My niece is a successfulPhD neuroscientist at a major private research institution in the US, a social activist and is good and kind a person as could be. I wish she would leave and start again in Europe. I try not to nag her about this but I want her out and safe while the EU is looking for her skills and experience. She feels she shouldn’t leave her country while it needs people like her.
