Italy is helping in other ways however. Meloni was feared to be a russophile when she took office but thankfully that’s not been the case and she isn’t an Italian Marie Le Pen.

In Italy we have the oldest population of the world (or Second to Japan I don’t remember), the least patriotic younglings in ages and among the most pacifist political environment of the whole West.
Just an example: our biggest (and only) aircarrier is the Cavour, it is among the shortest aircarriers in the world and the government (I don’t remember which one of the past) had to “hide” its true nature selling it to the parliament under some technical names because “aircarrier” was too scary for them and the population.
We can build good weapons and awesome ships but don’t expect Italians to move a foot out of their own garden
