Are you buying or selling?
I mean, anyway don’t send money or give them any info and you should be safe,
picking up tires and paying in cash seems like a normal request
(without need to exchange more than an adress), or are you/they planning on
sending/receiving them by mail?

Also you can’t do much with a phone number alone or everybody who
ever got a scam call would have a huge problem (an even bigger one I mean)

Just don’t enter any Info online if they request it
and handle the transaction in person,
if that’s not possible I would decline.

E: (sometimes people are asking for direct contact to see if it might be
possible to handle the trade off-site so the seller doesn’t have to pay
Ricardo and they can get what they are buying a bit cheaper,
can lead to account suspension and for sure only do it if you can meet
in person and handle payment in cash, but it happens)
