Dictators never leave the seats without creating bloody civil wars. Like Saddam Esad Putin… And now Erdoğan. Turkey’s democracy is not strong enough to handle Erdoğan. This news is old. The government (well all judges are ruling party members in turkey , it’s compulsory so) has just stripped the power of the administration of the world’s largest bar (İstanbul lawyer association) today, mere hours ago.
The biggest tragedy is that the police are using violence against young people on the streets, no one is doing these protests against the police.
Just last week, I was reading comments from people about how European defense could be so well bolstered by Turkey lmao.
