Sono appena tornato da alcuni giorni a Malaga. Ho adorato la città, anche se il tempo non era quello che mi aspettavo.
Ho notato quanti balconi erano chiusi con vetro. In generale, molte finestre erano enormi. Per me, questo sembra controintuitivo in un posto così caldo, dove mi aspetto che le finestre siano piccole per ridurre al minimo l’esposizione al sole.
Quindi, cari amici spagnoli, per cosa usi questi balconi? Pensi che abbiano senso? Qual è la loro storia? Ho provato a cercarlo su Internet ma non sono riuscito a trovare molto.

People like having sunlight enter their apartments. With a small window, you’d always need to have the lights on.
You are wrong, small windows are for cold places like mountains, you can protect from sunlight very easy especially in spain (we use persianas, wooden or plastic blinds built into the window, very few countries use them) and still have the benefits of a large window.
